Neve Edgar '22 Recruiting Profile

I am an attacker-defender from New Westminster, BC,  Canada.  Although I live in a lacrosse focused city, I didn't start to play lacrosse until I was 12 years old. I decided to play at the urging of a friend, but we did not end up playing on the same team.  Even though I was on a team with older, experienced players, I made the decision to try it out.  It turned out to be one of my best life decisions so far - I fell in love with field lacrosse!

Since 2017, I have taken every opportunity to play and better myself.  I have played on the local club team, high school team and numerous travel teams within BC,  as well as joining teams from Ontario and Pittsburgh for tournaments.  I have also attended numerous camps and showcases including University of Colorado - Boulder, Northwestern Elite, Whirlwind and the Philly Summer Showcase. In addition to field lacrosse, I also play box lacrosse for the New Westminster Salmonbellies - Midget Girls.

 I am a strong, consistent, well rounded player who is proficient in both defensive and offensive positions. I am a dedicated team player, with drive and commitment to not only advancing my own skills and knowledge of lacrosse, but that of my teammates as well.  I am looking for a team focused university lacrosse program with passion and drive, where I can contribute to the success of the team while continuing my education and love of lacrosse.
