I am a single sport athlete, playing lacrosse year round. I am a well rounded student-athlete with a well above average GPA and am motivated to get better each time I step on the lacrosse field. I'm a team player and a natural leader on and off the field.

Newport Harbor High School Sailor Girls Lacrosse Summer Camp

Intensive Skills and Fitness Camp prior to Fall League in Newport Beach, CA. Coaches: ---Matt Armstrong---I have been the varsity girls’ lacrosse coach at Newport Harbor since 2012. I played lacrosse for the University of Michigan from 1994-1997. Over the last seventeen years, I have coached soccer, boys’ lacrosse, and/or girls’ lacrosse at four schools in three states. I also teach English at Newport Harbor.---Carly Prober---I was born and raised in Southern California and got my first taste of lacrosse as a freshman in High School. Playing basketball since the 4th grade, I have always been athletic and passionate about sports and was super excited to join a Spring sport my freshman year with some of my best friends. I started out on the novice team which was open to all new players for any grade level. After that year my skills grew tremendously and I was awarded MVP on Junior Varsity. As a Junior and Senior I was on Varsity and had a blast traveling up to Palo Alto for tournaments and being the team to beat! I'm excited to pass on a similar experience to you all and help you reach your goals. Go Sailors!---Betsy Meyers---Growing up in northern Virginia, I started playing competitive lacrosse when I was 8 years old. My career has taken me to several positions – starting on defense, moving into the goal, and finishing as low attack for the women’s club team at Texas A&M University. I moved to California in 2012 to work in the Biochemistry Department at UC Irvine and have since decided to pursue a graduate degree in Occupational Therapy. I am so grateful for the opportunity to coach such awesome girls in a sport that I love so much!--Eli Gutierrez---From 2012-2014, I was played goalie for the Newport Harbor Boys Varsity Lacrosse team. Throughout my senior year at NHHS, I volunteered with the girls program training goalies. Now that I have graduated, I look forward to continuing my work with these awesome girls in the cage.
