Summer/Fall Highl...Honestly, I had no idea what lacrosse was. One day I saw girls waving some sticks around and I thought it looked like fun. I was 14 at the time, going to become a freshmen in high school. Fast forward to today and it is what brings me joy. It is my escape from the world. I didn’t think I would be interested in playing college lacrosse but as my senior year came around, I knew this was something I couldn’t possibly let go. I am a hard working person and I won’t give up until something is done right. I will never disregard feed back because obvious mistakes make good fixes. The reason as to why I want to play at the collegiate level is because I absolutely love challenges and growing myself in the game. Academically, I challenge myself too but I do know my limits. Although I do like pushing my limits and trying to excel, I know when it’s time to take a deep breath and look for other options that will help me excell mentally. In all, I love this sport and without it, I wouldn’t have learned how to be a good leader or a team player. The game truly developed me into who I am.
