Alexa Scampini '23 Recruiting Profile

Starting as a competitive basketball player, I learned many transferable skills such as footwork in which I used to progress my lacrosse game.  After living in lacrosse county (MA) for 15 years my family decided to make a change and took us across the country to CA. Playing both East and West coast lacrosse has boosted my grit and skill level. Lastly, not only has living on both coasts bettered my LAX game, but my academics too. Growing up in one of the most academically competitive areas (Wellesley, Ma), I learned a amazing work ethic and the ability to balance my athletics and academics. Moving to the west after experiencing the best of the best I was able to excel and allow myself to move to Jserra Catholic High School to give myself more of a challenge and  for success .
