*Captian for 2022 Season
Hello Coaches,
My name is Mary Claire, teachers and coaches call me (MC), my main position is defense, but I can play all around the field.
I had first started playing lacrosse in 8th grade (age 14), I had started out on my school team. Many girls in the area of South Florida have been playing from such a young age. I never really discovered my passion for lacrosse until I had picked up the stick.
I enjoy pushing myself to find new limits and hope that I can compete to the next level. Playing in college would be a dream come true, although it is a very tough dream to achieve, I am prepared to go to great lengths.
On the field, I have a competitive nature, as coaches might say, "hungry for the ball." I had played other sports at a young age that allowed me to have very good hand-eye coordination. I have a voice on the field, which is much needed for the position of defense. I strive to encourage my teammates to do better on and off the field.
I play positions both D and M, I also have some experience playing attack as well. I can play anywhere on the field if needed.
I hope to extend my passion for lacrosse to the college level.
