Savanna Ware '22 Recruiting Profile

I am an only child, the daughter of a 1st generation immigrant from the Dominican Republic with a  father whose family has strong roots in Boston dating back to the 1700's.  I am looking for a school with the highest academic standards and would love to continue playing lacrosse, the sport I have played since I was 7 years old.  Lacrosse has taught me the importance of teamwork, perserverance and time management.  It was difficult when 5 of my closest lacrosse friends left for another team.  Initially I felt isolated but I stayed since I had made a commitment to that coach.  Lacrosse also requires me to be efficient with my time as I attend a challenging private school and practice is a 2 hour drive each way.   My 3 college goals are to graduate with a B.S. degree,  to develop interpersonal skills by meeting a diversity of people and to challenge my mind and body with the competitive sport of lacrosse.
