Emma Lucky '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Emma Lucky, and I have been playing lacrosse for about 7 years now. Ever since my parents put a lacrosse stick in my hand when I was younger I knew that this was going to be my sport. I live in elkton Maryland, and I attend Rising sun high school. I'm currently in my sophomore year, and I'm a captain on the JV Volleyball team, a starter on the Varsity Girls lacrosse team, and play club lacrosse for phantoms club team located in Wilmington Delaware. At the end of last years lacrosse high school season I made first team all county as a freshman, and finished the season with 17 goals and 7 assist. I have three older Brothers Timmy Lucky, Devon Lucky, and Ethan Lucky. My two oldest brothers Timmy Lucky and Devon Lucky played division 1 lacrosse at Fairfield University, and my other older brother Ethan Lucky is currently playing lacrosse at Sanford high school. My mother Amy Lucky went to Villanova University to study law. My father Tim Lucky was a face-off Towson University, and is currently the head coach for the Boys lacrosse team at Sanford high school. My goal is to continue to follow in the footsteps of my brothers and my father, but also create my own path along the way. I would like to play division 1 or 2 lacrosse in college, and study early childhood education. I would be a good canididate for your team, because I'm a strong and hardworking player. I give my 100% during every practice and games, and make sure to uplift my teammates as well. Being apart of a team is important to have good communication with your teammates and coaches. I am different from other recruits in character because I bring good encouragement to the team, and I'm not afraid to give constructive criticism. I'm different from other recruits in athletics because I strive to improve on my lacrosse performance each day on and off the field. I always make sure have hustle on the field at all times even when not having the ball ether. What makes me different from other recruits in academics is I always make sure to work hard on each and every assignment even if it's hard, and I will always ask for help when needed.
