Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Léla Greene. I currently attend McDonogh School (Class of 2024) in Owings Mills, Maryland where I strive to be well-rounded, multi-sport athlete. I am also a lacrosse midfielder on the M&D 2024 (Red) and Nation United lacrosse club teams where my athleticism, competitiveness, and overall lacrosse abilities set me apart due, in significant part, to dedicating more than 8 years competing at the national, regional and state levels in gymnastics. Although this is my 4th year playing the sport of lacrosse, I have quickly learned offensive and defensive concepts and am the top scoring midfielder on my club team. I take pride that I am a highly coachable and dedicated athlete who is fully committed on and off the field. After I graduate high school, my goal is to attend a college or university that has a rigorous academic program and a great reputation for its lacrosse program.
