Personal Statement
I am a midfielder and enjoy playing all aspects of the game. Thanks to my club lacrosse coach, Todd Leavitt, I have become a much better player over the past four years and feel I can play at the Division 1 level in college. I am one of the fastest players on my team, have been told that I have exceptional acceleration, and use my speed both offensively, but more importantly, defensively. I take pride in my defensive game and enjoy playing against the other team’s best players. I also enjoy either lining up on the center circle or taking the draw and fighting for the ball to gain possession.
This past year, I was part of the Integrity 2020 team that won the National Girls Lacrosse League (NGLL) “A” Championship, as well as the Project 120 (Allentown, PA) and The Grind (Malvern, PA) summer tournaments. Our team also qualified for and finished second in the US Lacrosse National Championships held in Indianapolis, IN, this past July. Individually, I was selected and played in the 2016 Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Tournament, Command Division, representing the Washington, DC, team. As a student, I have completed two marking periods and currently have a 96% average. I attended grade school at School of the Incarnation, Gambrills, MD, and had all A’s or A+’s in 6th, 7th and 8th grades. I received the Pope John Paul II Leadership Scholarship in 8th grade and the Father Roman Scholarship when I was accepted at Archbishop Spalding High School.
