Avery Briggs '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Avery Briggs and I attend Towson High school as a 2023 where I was apart of both Varsity Field Hockey and Lacrosse. I strive to work well on the field and in the classroom maintaining my 4.0 GPA. I have always done fairly well in school, but once I moved that's really when my sports career started. I wasn't really exposed to sports until the start of middle school. I picked up lacrosse way later than everyone else around me. I worked what felt like 10 times harder because I felt I was always a few steps behind everyone else. I quickly joined a club league and progressed from there. I now am apart of the 2023 TLC Red team where I find myself challenging myself and improving my skills. It's now my 7th year playing and my determination and confidence has got me this far! I'm hoping to find a team at the collegiate level that can enhance my skillset and challenge me academically. Another important factor in my decision may be relationships made with the coaching staff and teammates. Thank you :)
