Ella Campbell '24 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coach,

My name is Ella Campbell from Foxborough, Massachusetts. I just finished my Junior year at Foxborough High School and will be graduating as part of the Class of 2024. I am a 4-year varsity lacrosse player (3 year starter) for my high school and plan on playing on a college team. I would like you to please consider me for your roster as an incoming freshman in the Fall of 2024.

I have very strong academic credentials as a scholar athlete with a GPA of 4.36. I am a high honors student, a member of the National Honor Society, French National Honor Society and a member of the Massachusetts American Legion Auxiliary Girls State Program.

I have been playing lacrosse since I was in first grade including youth select teams, and I played for the Laxachusetts club team prior to high school. I made the Foxborough Varsity Team as a freshman and have started since my sophomore year. Over the last 3 years I have played both midfield and defense and for this past season I was recognized as the Defensive Player of the Year. Additionally, I was named as an honorable mention for our League All Star 2023 Team and named a Captain for my Senior year. My high school team is recognized as a top 15 program in Massachusetts. We have been league champs for the last 10+ seasons and earlier this month our season ended after we reached the MIAA D3 Final Four Championship. We ended the year ranked #11 overall in the state by the Boston Globe.

I am a dedicated and passionate student athlete. I put in 110% on and off the field where I strive to improve and lead by example to better my team. In addition to lacrosse, I also play field hockey (9-12, Varsity 10-12) and I will be a Senior Captain of the Indoor Track and Field Team (Varsity 9-12) where I excel in running distances between 300-1000 yds, jumping events and competing in the pentathlon. Off the field I hold two jobs including working as a lifeguard at the YMCA, volunteer as a youth lacrosse coach, and I’m a Sectional Leader of the high school choir (9-12). But I love lacrosse most of all! I truly enjoy the physical training and hard work required that will enable me to improve my game and achieve greater results while playing in college.

Please consider meeting with me and talking about your lacrosse program. I truly believe I would be a tremendous asset to your team in the fall of 2024 due to my skills, my strong lax IQ and team ethos, and my strong work ethic. I continue to raise my game and will be moving to mid-field for my senior year.
