My name is Madeline Bazinet and I am an attacker from the class of 2024. I have been playing lacrosse since I was in first grade, and I have been playing for my club team, Laxachusetts, since I was in third grade. The coaches at Laxachusetts have taught me so much about lacrosse, and have made me the ambitious player I am today. Also, I have been a part of the most competitive team for my age group since fifth grade, and I've had the opportunity to grow as a player along with the teammates I have had for almost five years now. Playing lacrosse has taught me how to work hard in all aspects of my life. This same work ethic has helped me develop the skills I have as a player, more specifically, as an attacker.
Academics also mean a great deal to me. I have always been a strong student, and I truly enjoy learning just as much as I enjoy playing lacrosse. And, just like in lacrosse, my work ethic in the classroom is tireless. I attend St. Mark's School in Southborough, MA and St. Mark's has challenged me academically more than ever, and working through those challenges is making me a better student each day. I am still continuing to grow as a learner and I am willing to continue to work hard during the rest of my time at St. Mark's, and at the college I will attend.
My commitment and enjoyment towards growing as a lacrosse player and as a student have taught me to work as hard as I can to reach my goal of playing lacrosse in college.
