Around November of 2016, I typed out a paper with a list of goals that I'd like to accomplish for the coming year. I have various strength and conditioning goals as well as goals for on-the-field play. I have since been working towards these goals and I am excited about the progress that I've made and will continue to make. My collegiate goals include continuing to be aggressive, fast, and hard-working. I will make a list of goals (as I do each year) for when I start to play collegiately.
I am a good candidate for your team because of my work ethic. I work hard during practice and outside of practice. Whether it be academics or athletics, I strive to be the very best I can be. To achieve this, I work outside of practice on whatever it is I need to improve. I take great pride in my aggressiveness and smarts on the field. My most prominent characteristic is my eagerness to learn, which I am very excited to do in the coming years.
I am different from other recruits because I can maintain an aggressive mindset while playing, but not let small things get to me. If I make a mistake, I forget about it and move on to the next play. My coach calls it short-term memory. My aggressiveness on the field counterbalances my easy-going personality. I am different from other athletes because of my work ethic and versatility while playing. I can go anywhere you need me. I have speed, endurance, and strength. I am different from others academically because of my wide variety of advanced classes and my 5.0 GPA. My interests never stop so every class is an incredible journey for me.
