Kaylynn Wilks '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches! My name is KayLynn Wilks and I have been playing lacrosse for 4 years. I mostly play defense but also run the midfield as well. My love for lacrosse started in the 7th grade when I first picked up a stick and it has grown ever since. Competing at the colligate level would be a dream come true. As one of the captains this year for my high school team, I helped lead my team to its first ever undefeated season ending with a state championship title. As well as making second team all-state. I am homeschooled doing dual enrollment through Montana State University Billings, which allows me to take college level classes now. In the off season of lacrosse, I play point guard for my homeschool basketball team as well as help coach the middle school team. From coaching a younger team, I learned a lot, and one of those things is my love for coaching. In college I would like to pursue athletic training or a kinesiology degree, as a way to stay in the lacrosse atmosphere and a way to pass on the love of it to younger athletes. After graduating college and gaining more experience I would like to look into coaching at the college level.
