Hope Fowler '16 Recruiting Profile

I believe that becoming part of a team is a privilege; one receives help from teammates to improve, grow, and achieve. However, being part of a team also means that sacrifices are involved. It is a time when one must put a team goal above their own personal goal, and spend time and effort to help their teammates improve, grow, and achieve. A team lifts and elevates the performance of an individual to heights never before achieved; together each achieves more. Being part of a team means never settling for anything but your best and never leaving your teammates behind; after all, a team is only as strong as its weakest player. You become one unit, playing off your strengths and weaknesses. You enjoy the best, endure the worst, and work through those times together.

As for my goals and aspirations, I strive to achieve the best. I find myself to be quite hardworking and hardly ever content. When things come easy I would rather not take advantage as things worked for often offer a greater personal reward. I am a very strong academic and simply an athlete determined to play the game with passion.
