Maggie Burlison '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Maggie. I am in the graduating class of 2025 and I have played lacrosse for 12 years. It has always been a dream of mine to play at the college level. I joined the varsity lacrosse team as a freshman and was a starter in my sophomore season. When I first started lacrosse it instantly clicked with me and felt right. I love the feeling of being on a team and knowing there are so many ways I can improve my skill level and how I play. Going to practice and games is always the highlight of my day. My freshman and sophomore years of high school were very slow moving and I was not interested at all and thats when I had a dip in my grades. My junior year I started attending agriculture classes at a nearby school and it clicked with me in the same way lacrosse did. I attend this class with 2 of my teammates. The joy of being on a team is one that I wish on everyone. I believe that I am one of the most positive and fun people on my team. I love helping out my younger teammates when they are struggling with something or just need more help. They know I’m always there for them off the field too. I would describe my character as outgoing and joy filled. I strive to find the good even in the worst of times. Sorry for making this so long. Hopefully you stuck around!
