What makes me a good candidate is that I never give up. If there is something I am not doing well or could be doing better I never give up. I want to play for a U.S. College or University and I want to get a good education. I have played team sports all my life. My mother started me swimming when I was 3 months old. I have been on a swim team, basketball team, hockey team, lacrosse team, soccer team, my whole life. My best friends are my team mates and between my sports in school or on my league or provincial teams, my focus is on getting good marks, going to all my practices and helping my teams win as many games as possible. I love being on a team and the feeling of accomplishment is the best!

My mother is a competitive marathon runner in her mid-40s. She has run all her life and played on Varsity Sports. My mother won 2 provincial titles at the age of 38 and 39 for marathon running. My father played Hockey in the competitive arena of Junior A league when he was a teen ager and into college. My life is based on sports and school and accomplishment.
