Veronica Curry '19 Recruiting Profile

A dream of mine has always been to play lacrosse at a university level. I have always been described by coaches as coachable and hardworking, and I always come to lacrosse with a good attitude, willing to push myself and encourage my teammates at any given time. I am also a well-rounded individual, managing my lacrosse schedule, IB classwork, student council commitments, a part time job, along with other sports teams. I work well with others and would be a key aspect and great teammate on any lacrosse team.

I grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and have been one of the founding members of our growing girls lacrosse program here. I have played box lacrosse since I was very young, and have been playing field lacrosse since the first year it was offered to girls in Nova Scotia. Even though the program is still small, it is growing and has taught me countless lessons about leadership and the value of hard work.
