Personal Statement
I am a multi-sport athlete who plays both club and high school lacrosse and consider myself a dynamic two-way midfielder who will always help my team on attack and defense whenever needed.
I recently earned a spot on the elite lacrosse program – South Coast Lacrosse and look forward to a great fall season. Prior to this, I played club lacrosse for Houston Hot Sauce Lacrosse at the varsity level for the past year and a half. I play high school lacrosse for Gulf Coast Storm Lacrosse and am a 2 year letterman. I consider myself to have a high lacrosse IQ and I am always looking to elevate my team and teammates. I believe one of my best assets is my mental strength. There are times in practices, games and tournaments where you must overcome distractions and having the ability to reset your focus is crucial.
As a student, I am a junior at First Baptist Christian Academy, class of '23 (Pasadena, TX). I currently have a 3.495 GPA on a 4.0 scale and scored a 910 on my 2021 spring PSAT10. I will be taking the SAT and ACT this fall and looking to improve on those scores. Outside of lacrosse, as mentioned above, I complete in multiple sports for my high school. I am a multi-year varsity letterman in volleyball, basketball, track, cheerleading and baseball as their manager. I was awarded the 2021 Female Athlete of the Year Award and look to continue my athletic success moving forward. Outside of school, I volunteer within the community at my church’s vacation bible school, Kid’s Meals in Houston, and with the Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo as a Junior Rodeo Committeeman as well.
