Claire McCann '26 Recruiting Profile

Hey! I'm Claire McCann and I love lacrosse with my whole heart! I don't just WANT to play lacrosse in college at this point it feels like a NEED! I play for Hillcrest High school in Utah and my Sophomore season was the very first year we had lacrosse available to play at our school I am one of the reasons our team came to be, I pushed our athletic director my whole Freshman year to get a team. We developed a team and I helped coach many of the open gyms and recruit lots of the girls we play with today to come and try the sport! My goal in lacrosse is to become the best player individually and team player that I can possibly be. To keep in shape during off season I run varsity cross country. In school I have been speaking Spanish for over 10 years now and that has lead me to taking AP and currently taking CE Spanish classes. Because of this I have translated for many of the native Spanish speakers on the lacrosse team.
