“It’s not about the light at the end of the tunnel, but the journey through the tunnel.” -Anonymous.
I think about this quote every day because it reminds me that it’s not about the end result, but how you get there. It reminds me to work hard for everything I want and to persevere through hard times. You don’t stop in the middle of a tunnel, you keep driving.
I am confident in saying that I am well-adapted and prepared to succeed and achieve my goals at the university level. My interest in pursuing a future in college lacrosse has always been a very considerable goal for me since I was very young. Another very significant goal for me is to serve and give back to our great country. I believe it is the patriotic duty of every able-bodied man to serve their country and have the commitment to step up. I have the awesome opportunity of being able to join the ROTC and being able to give back to our country right out of college.
