Winning against our rival team my sophomore year, who was ranked #2 in the state of Utah was the highlight of my high school career. However, I feel like I grew more as an individual and as a student-athlete my junior year when we had to rebuild our program due to many graduating seniors. This lead me to focus on how I could best benefit my team and what I needed to focus on to help me to compete at a college level.
I was fortunate enough to be able to play for a team that has continuously made it to the top round of playoffs ever year I have been able to play for them. I have learned many important values while playing lacrosse including teamwork, communication skills, and leadership. Another value I have learned is commitment, not only to lacrosse but to my academics as well. My education has always been very important to me. I am looking for a program that will benefit me not only athletically but also academically as well as I continue down my career path towards the medical field.
