I have been rowing since I was 13 years old. I started rowing the summer before my eighth-grade year and I was also playing soccer at the time. I decided to try the sport because it looked really exciting, and I was eager to find another sport to do. Little did I know that crew would change my life for the better. Rowing has taught me that sportsmanship and the relationships that you have with your teammates are one greatest things to have. I have also learned so much about having a strong bond with your teammates will make you an even better group. the Rowing in college has always been a dream of mine ever since I started. I always try to lead by example, and I am a hard worker. I am a very coachable athlete and I strive to get better at the sport every day. I always put in 101% effort and promise the greatest amount of energy that there is to give. I am a great student in class, and I am able to maintain a high GPA. I am involved in different clubs at my school and volunteer outside of school. My goal is to go to a college where I can succeed in the classroom as well as on the water or at training. I am open to any option that there is to row in college and to find some competition. I want my peers to look up to me and know that I am making the people that are close to me proud.
