Samantha Maynard '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a rising junior at the Kent school located in Kent Connecticut. I have been rowing for 4 years since 7th grade and plan to row competitively in college. I first started rowing with the Sagamore rowing association located in Oyster Bay. I went into my high school education at the kent school and started rowing for their team. I was on the high school team in 8th grade at Sagamore and competed in many local erging competitions where I took first place. I also competed in Crash B's at Boston University in 2020 where I placed 15th in the 18 and under category. I was invited to try out for the junior Olympic team right before Covid hit. I can scull and sweep both sides. I have my own single and compete in 8's at Kent.
