Willow Fraser '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I am Willow, born and raised in California who moved to Stonington Connecticut in middle school. My rowing journey started in fall of 2021. Rowing was something completely new to me but despite its unfamiliarity I instantly fell in love with the sport. Being able to row with such an incredible group of girls and mentored by such amazing coaches on the water was something I had never experienced. I’ve always had a love for the ocean so being able to do a sport in the water was dream come true. The bond I have grown to have with my teammates has created long lasting friendships and an overall great team environment. Being able to see my improvement and growth on and off the water has taught me so much as I learned to set and reach my personal goals. Working with my teammates to cheer and support each other on to reach our team and individual goals has created bonds and skills that I will take on with me to college. I dedicate my time and my best work ethics forward in both academics and CREW. I strive to create a balance between my athletic, academic, social and family life. I’m a positive and a hard-working teammate, who gives her all and strives for her best. I have just completed my third fall season and am excited to start winter training to grow and reach new heights in my rowing experience. I'm truly grateful to have found a sport that brings me so much joy and hope to be able to continue my rowing experience in college.
