Taite Innes '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches! 

 I am currently a junior at Wilton High School and this upcoming fall marks my first year as a varsity member of the Saugatuck junior women's rowing club. Some of my core characteristics that truly encapsulate me as a rower is determination to reach my near and long term goals as an athlete, my persistent work ethic, which guides me to keep at this sport at its toughest times, and my ability to work cohesively with others, especially when it comes to my team. I believe that team culture is one of the most important things and as an athlete I do everything in my power to positively contribute to my team. 

On the academic side of things, I consider my achievements in school and my education as a whole very important. When it comes to my education I am a diligent, honest, and incredibly hardworking student, knowing that putting in extra time in my subjects can and will get me a lot farther than those around me. When looking for the best fit school for me, I look for one that will challenge me academically and further increase my curiosity for whichever subject I decide to major in. Alongside this, I also look for schools in which their coaching staff and team members celebrate all that they do for one another, creating a terrific culture that allows everyone to go fast.
