Hi! I am Natalia Townsend. I started rowing my 7th grade fall season and have been rowing since and plan to continue rowing through college. I started rowing because my oldest sister Ari rowed and I needed another sport besides soccer to do in order to stay active. My dad also rowed for a few years for Georgetown University and My sister currently rows D1 at Drexel university. Rowing is my passion and I look forward to going to practice everyday to see my coaches, my friends and to get on the water. I will soon start competing with the El Salvador national team and compete in races such as the Panamerican games and hopefully go to the junior Olympics as well. This year I will compete in costal rowing beach sprints for the first time and I am really excited to try something new. I want to join a team be a positive influence for my other teammates and be able to uplift them and have a good time on the team while working hard and doing my best as a rower.
