My next goal is to be challenged to compete in rowing at a collegiate level.
I was named the Winnipeg Rowing Club Junior Athlete of the Year in 2016-17 and 2017-18. I was named the Manitoba Rowing Association Junior Athlete of the Year in 2017-18.
I am a disciplined, goal-driven athlete with a strong work ethic. I strive to achieve the highest level of excellence not only in rowing but in all aspects of my life such as school, work and volunteering. Rowing has pushed me towards and beyond my limits as I consistently improve my technique, physical fitness and strength.
One of the reasons I enjoy rowing is the team aspect! I enjoy being able to thrive off of my crewmates and encourage them as we strive for greatness. You can't succeed in rowing alone!
I am experienced in sculling, sweeping and bowing. I have rowed in different seats, different boats and different sides. I am very adaptable when it comes to rowing as I love being presented with new challenges and ways to become a better athlete and rower!
