Hi, my name is Ella Gusick, and I am currently a Senior at Coronado High School. Being from Las Vegas, Nevada, I always am stopped and questioned when I mention I do rowing. People always wonder how does it even exist in Las Vegas, but I couldn’t imagine where I would be today without it. I started in fall 2020. Rowing has impacted my life in so many positive ways. It has taught me to push myself past my limits, and how to become a team player. On the daily basis, rowing reminds me that I need to push myself not only in the boat or the erg, but also to becoming a better person and an academic student. With the excitement and strong community rowing has brought to me, I hope to continue my passion at least into a college level.
