Rowing has always been something that I have taken seriously; however, that does not mean that I do not have fun too! When talking to the novice girls on my team, they said that I made them feel the most welcomed out of anyone at the boathouse and described me as kind-hearted, considerate, accommodating, and most supportive. I make it a goal of mine to be positive in the boathouse and training facility and constantly try to help my teammates smile. I also appreciate all forms of constructive criticism because I know it will help to improve my performance on and off the water. For example, off the water, I am currently diligently working on getting my 2k to a 7:30 by the end of the spring season with the help of my coaches. Academically I have a grade-point average of 87.3, and I am working hard to get that up to a 95.
