My name is Fiona Devine. I am currently in my senior year at Ocean City High School. I have been rowing for four years. Freshman year I rowed bow for my varsity team in our lightweight boat; also rowing in our novice boat we received second at the Garden State Scholastic Championships, and third at the Atlantic County High School Rowing Championships. During my sophomore year I rowed in seven seat then changing to stroke later in the season for our varsity boat.Throughout my junior year I rowed in our lightweight boats, and ended the season rowing as bow in our Varsity 4, where we made it to semi-finals at Nationals.
This season I hope to drop my times drastically and improve in every way possible. I am a hard worker who never gives up, no matter how hard the workouts are. I am cooperative with the coaches and my other teammates. What I am looking for in a college are that they include my major-Sports Management/Marketing with a good campus, and a consistent crew team. I hope to continue my rowing career throughout college, always improving my technique and times.
