I’m Alisha Raja. My crew journey began recently in the beginning of my junior year, when a friend suggested I check out rowing. I attended a practice and immediately noticed the hard work and dedication that was needed for this sport. I decided to give it a shot, and soon fell in love with it. The athletes I watched, and now get to train with amaze and inspire me every day. Pushing myself past my limits on and off the water truly make me a better rower and person. When I look back now, I realize how much I’ve grown from these experiences, and cannot wait to see how far they will take me. I want to row on the collegiate level because I want to further my athletic career and continue to enjoy this sport I love so much.
