I started rowing in the Fall of 2023. At first it was a way to stay active after the pandemic, a place to strengthen myself but also step out of my comfort zone. But soon it became so much more than that. I made friends at rowing and we encouraged each other to do better at practice, to try harder and be better than we were the day before. Everyday I come to practice knowing that I will give my 100% each and every day. For everyday that I'm forced to miss practice I try twice as hard on my own so that when I get back I am ready to improve. I may not be the strongest rower yet, but I'm willing to put in all the work to get there.
