My freshman year I had the privalege of coxing boats for the Varsity team. Being affiliated with strong and mature upperclassmen(rowers and coxswain) pushed me to excel in my position. I offer up time during my summer to work with the community, which has taught me how to teach and cox at many different levels. Other than being apart of our rowing team, I'm in my high schools choir, French national honors society, and the high school marching band. All of these activities including coxing have taught me discipline, teamwork, patience, and perseverance, qualities that I strive to apply to all aspects of my life.
