have wanted to attend college for as long as I can remember, but most recently I have found my self loving my crew team . when I was younger I played lots of intramural sports but none of then really felt like my place. it was not until the freshman year that I fell in love with rowing and realized I wanted to do this in college. for me, the competition was not only rewarding, but it made me feel centered. locking in at the start line was the best feeling in the world. for me, it is all about the middle of the race when your lungs burn you want to be tired but you do not give up. your coxswain calls another power and your adrenaline is so high, it's knowing even when you thought you couldn't give any more you found more, and you will continue it was focusing on my drive and breath that made the world vanish I could only hear my coxswain and the possibility's felt endless. rowing became my passion the docs became my home and my crew became my family.
I'm excited and ready to learn all that I can from my new future coaches. And I look forward to becoming a member of A new team, making new friends, and representing my college in the sport I love.
