Hi, my name is Olivia Wist, and I am in my grade 11 year at Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School. Sports have always been a huge part of my life, starting with hockey and equestrian for 10 years. In my freshman year, I also began wrestling and rugby. While I’ve loved all the sports I’ve played, rowing has become my true passion. The feeling of winning a race is unlike anything else, and it’s why I made the tough decision to focus solely on rowing, leaving other sports behind.
I currently row for St. Catharines Rowing Club, where I am consistently in my clubs most competitive boats. Alongside my athletic pursuits, academics are equally important to me. I take AP courses and maintain a 90+ average, pushing myself to excel both in the classroom and on the water.
My goal is to attend a school that offers both strong academics and a competitive rowing program. I’m committed to reaching my full potential in rowing, and I’m ready to push myself to the limit to make my dreams a reality. I strive to be the best version of myself—whether that’s listening to my coaches and teachers, or giving my all in every practice and race.
