Hi, I’m Amelia Armstrong, a 2026 graduate from Grant High School in Portland, Oregon. Rowing has really become a big part of my life lately, and I’m all in on pushing myself to get better every day. As a novice, I’ve been steadily breaking my personal records, and being tall definitely gives me an edge when it comes to my reach and stroke power. But what I really love about rowing isn’t just the physical side—it’s the way the sport has connected me with so many amazing teammates and friends. I’ve learned a lot about teamwork, discipline, and how to push through challenges, and I’m proud of the progress I’ve made so far. I’m definitely competitive, but the supportive, friendly vibe in my team makes it all the more rewarding. I’m excited to keep growing as an athlete and a person as I continue my journey in this awesome community!
