Hello! My name is Emma and I have been rowing for 1.5 years. I started rowing after I decided that I needed a break from gymnastics and I have loved it since. I started rowing pretty late compared to others, but because of that I have been pushing myself to catch up. Last year I went to Youth Nationals in Sarasota in a U17 8+. At the time I was still in my third season as a novice, I am now in my third season of Varsity. I am currently taking jiujitsu as well because I have been doing that sport since I was 9. It has helped a lot with my stamina when it comes to rowing. I hope to continue to row throughout college.
