Hello! My name is Brynn Romberger, and I would love to pursue rowing at the collegiate level. As an athlete who has tried many different sports, I discovered rowing and instantly fell in love. Rowing has become my passion because of its intensity, mechanics, teamwork, and mental toughness. It allows me to push myself to limits that I never thought I could reach and to form the most powerful bonds with my teammates.
At the age of five, I began to compete athletically as a swimmer and Irish dancer; moreover, the rhythm and repetition of these sports, hard work, and love for the water, have continued to grow and fuel my passion for rowing. Over the past two years, rowing has proven extremely rewarding and provided fulfilling experiences including the SRAA National Championships Regatta, The Head of the Charles, City Championships, Stotesbury Cup Regatta, and USRowing Youth Virtual National Championship.
My ideal college will challenge me both athletically and academically. I am a dedicated student and athlete who readily accepts all difficult challenges that I may face, perseveres through any obstacle, and gives 110% of my effort to the task at hand. Some of my academic interests include engineering, architecture, and mathematics. My positive attitude, optimistic approach, and passion for my interests will continue to elevate my performance as a college student and athlete.
I hope you consider me as a strong candidate in your search for the class of 2026, and I appreciate you learning a little about me!
