I would love to continue my rowing career in college and continue to strive on and off the water. I didn't know what crew was until coming to my high school as a freshman. I had no idea what it was or how much it would impact my life. Ever since that first day in the coxswain seat, I immediately fell in love. I loved that I was able to use my voice and be a leader for my team. Something about me that really stands out is that I am a go getter and like to get things done. You will never see me sitting around at a practice or a race doing nothing. I like to get the job done whatever that might be quickly and efficiently. One of my favorite things about being a coxswain is getting to help rowers achieve their goals, whether it's winning a race or getting a PR on a 2k. I have always had a passion for helping others and it brings me so much joy when I can do that for my team. I have used these leadership skills crew has taught me and continued to strive in the classroom and in my extracurricular activities. Thanks to crew, I can pursue my passion of helping others. I will be forever grateful for the life long memories, friendships, and skills crew has given me and I hope to continue to make more memories as my crew journey is very far from over.
