Hi! I'm a 5'3, 120 lb senior coxswain from Narragansett Boat Club in Providence, RI. I was a lightweight sculler for 4 years while also playing ice hockey, until this year when I switched to coxing full time. I have had the opportunity to cox eights in addition to bow-loaded fours and quads in both sprint and head races.
I have a 33 ACT and 4.1 career-weighted GPA, with 10 AP courses, including AP Calculus, AP Physics 1, and AP Physics C: Mechanics. I have a 1370 SAT from my junior year that I hope to update soon.
I would like to attend a school that will allow me to grow and mature as an athlete and a student. I’m interested in a school that will provide research and learning opportunities as part of a strong science and engineering program as well as a great rowing program where I would be pushed to further develop my skills as a coxswain.
