Personal Statement
Hey coaches! I am currently a varsity rower on the REACH Rowing club team in Knoxville, TN. I started rowing in my 9th-grade year. It quickly became my passion.
One of my goals is to be able to reach my full potential during my collegiate years. For me this means seeking difficult PRs, constantly working towards something bigger, and seeing results of my work ethic during races. I have a passion to be challenged and I liked to be pushed and truly want to utilize my abilities. This mindset also carries over to my academics, as I want to use my education to pursue great things.
Another goal of mine is to create good relationships within my team. Being involved in a team fosters a great community and I enjoy being able to build relationships with my team members. Sharing a common goal with other girls, and pursuing our passions is something I highly look forward to.
