I have been on competitive sports teams since I was four years old and I have always loved being part of a team. I was a competitive swimmer for two years in middle school, switched to rowing in sixth grade, and never looked back. Rowing is such a fun, challenging, competitive sport, and yet I have always had such supportive and kind teammates and coaches who always pushed me to be my best. I have been with Texas Rowing Center (TRC) women's competitive rowing program in Austin for four years. I am currently a sophomore at LASA High School and on the Varsity team. I was in the top five on my team in the 2K category in 2023/24, and four of those top five athletes just graduated in the spring of 2024. I won 1st place at the Austin Erg Rodeo in Womens U17 in 2024 and 2025, and won the Texas Rowing Center Women's Varsity "Erg Champ" ("Hammer") Award at the end of my freshman year. I also won two medals at regionals in 2024, each of which qualified me for Nationals. I love rowing and being on the water, and I have so much fun working hard at practice, honing my rowing skills every single day!
