Katherine Metteauer '24 Recruiting Profile

I was first drawn to rowing because of the supportive community and the opportunity to be out on the water with my friends, but as I continued and became a coxswain, I discovered a new side of the sport. Over the past four years, coxing has allowed me to grow as a leader and connect with each of my teammates in a meaningful way. My competitiveness has flourished through rowing, and racing has become one of my favorite aspects of the sport. Rowing is a core part of my life, and I can't imagine not having the supportive team culture of rowing in my college life. I look forward to bringing my leadership skills, thoughtfulness, and competitive spirit to collegiate rowing.
