Haven Mead '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I'm Haven Mead, a rower with three years of competitive experience at Lake Braddock Crew. My current PRs are an 8:17.6 for my 2k and a 26:19.7 for my 6k, and I'm training every day this summer to bring those times down. I'm a hardworking, coachable athlete who shows up ready to push myself to improve.

Off the water, I've taken leadership roles such as Section Leader in my choir, Head of Fundraising and Social Media Manager for the choir board, and I was also an officer in the French Honor Society. I bring 100% to the table in everything I do, from earning my Girl Scouts Bronze, Silver, and Silver Trefoil Awards (I am currently working on my Gold Award!) to balancing academics and athletics.

I'm looking to row at a school that values team culture, supports its athletes with good resources, and is competitive in their conference. I plan to major in either Psychology or Marketing and would love to be part of a program that challenges me on the water and in the classroom.
