Annabelle Yates '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Annabelle Yates and I am a rising senior at South County High School. My hobbies include backpacking, hiking, kayaking and I am currently on a mission to obtain my private pilots licence. My goal as a collegiate athlete is to push myself and my teammates beyond their limits and see them rise to their full potential. As a coxswain, I am dedicated, ambitious and always working to achieve that exhilarating moment when the boat just comes together as one. I have gained experience in Novice boats, Junior Varsity boats, both Men and Women Varsity boats, and Masters. In nearly 4 years of rowing, one of my favorite things to see in rowers is their persistence and motivation for this sport. I think it is a truly surreal thing to put your full willpower and commitment into something and to experience all the sweat and tears pay off. Along with rowing, Academics are a big priority of mine. I plan to study aviation in college and after school, I would like to become a commercial airline pilot.
