Caroline Flood '18 Recruiting Profile

My college goals is to compete on a competing college riding team, I hope to get a college scholarship in order to go to the schools I am interested. I aspire to become a veterinarian in the future and my goal is to find a college that has a pre vet program and a riding team. I have been competitively riding for 8 years and have been working with horses for even longer.  I have placed in A-rated shows such as culpepper, Lexington, Lounden Benifit, Swan Lake, and many more. I have just moved up to junior hunters with my trainer and will be competing in WHIS Local day as well as Mid Atlantic Equation Festival.This summer I worked at a zoo and gained hands on experience with a variety of domestic and rare animals. This school year I am now enrolled in an animal science class and gaining more hands on experience.  In my junior year I am enrolled in 4 AP classes two of which are sciences; Biology and Physics. I have played many different varsity sports throughout my college career and have lettered in women's rowing. Freshman year my boat placed 3rd in states. I work extremely hard in all of the aspects in my life and am extremely motivated to be successful during my time at college. I think I would be an essential asset to both your college and your riding team. Thank you.
