Lucy Ley '17 Recruiting Profile

I stared competitively swimming at the age of seven, then switched to elite volleyball at age eleven. Recently I changed direction to pursue rowing full time, as I found my passion with this sport and know that will drive me to be the most successful. With my experience in multiple sports, I view myself as a very coachable and team oriented athlete. I am extremely hardworking and driven, with the tenacity to win. 

First and foremost, I am looking to receive a quality education. Second would to be a major part of a rowing team. As an only child, the team becomes my family, which is a very important part of my life. I am very interested in studying biomedical sciences.
