My name is Skylar Bennett, and I am a senior with a graduating year of 2022. I am homeschooled and live in Huntsville, Alabama. I am playing the 2021 fall season with the Hoover-Vestavia Soccer 03/04 Girls DPL team, and we are participating in the U19 Southeast Division. My preferred positions are center striker, attacking midfielder and defensive midfielder. My strengths include technical foot skills with both left and right foot, good field vision, creative tactical play, and a competitive mindset. I desire to compete in a challenging environment that pushes me technically and tactically as a soccer player. I am interested in a school that challenges me both academically and athletically. I plan to major in Kinesiology or Exercise Science with the overall goal of becoming a Sports Physical Therapist. I am also interested in coaching and completed my grassroots coaching license. I hope to complete my "D License" before college. I currently was coaching Vestavia Hill's Attack 10 Liverpool girls team as an assistant coach to Coach Kat Nichols. I also have worked as an assistant volunteer coach for NASA Little Strikers (ages 2-4) and Vestavia Hills Competitive Soccer Academy (U9-U11).
