Mikenna Keirn '27 Recruiting Profile

I play GK for CISC Elite 09 Girls, and have been playing soccer since I was three.  For the last six years I've been GK for my team, which has provided me with many great learning opportunities.  This year, while playing in Orlando for the Conference Playoffs, I helped the team advance with two shutouts and conceded only one goal. Based on this performance, I was recognized by ProScore Soccer as a 'Player to Watch' during the USYS National League P.R.O playoffs held in Oceanside California.  I'm very passionate about soccer, and am a highly motivated and committed player. One of my biggest strengths is that I work well under pressure and am able to bounce back after defeat with a positive attitude and great sportsmanship.   Some personal things about me: I love to be active and busy.  If you don't find me in the soccer net, you'll find me out running, biking, longboarding, snowboarding, or working out.  I also love being part of a team, and am fortunate to be part of one of the best teams in the state and the nation! While sports and fitness is where I thrive, I also understand how important an education is and even with all of the traveling we do out of state, I'm able to prioritize my time to make sure my grades stay up! Recently, our club team has earned Elite 64 status - I'm very excited to see what the future brings with this!
